Summer Date Nights

The end of May has been a great start to (almost) summer. The weather has been great and there have been so many fun activities going on with our families and friend's. Colb and I spent our night getting ice cream and then picking up family from the airport. As un-glamorous as that sounds I was so excited that we had a few hours to spend together talking and getting a treat! Our date nights are not always super planned, but with our busy schedules how can they be? We do a lot of quick and simple dates because we need the time to catch up and don't usually have time before our date nights to plan. Some of our favorite dates are getting ice cream (this is more of my favorite than Colb's), trying dinner at a new restaurants, having a fire in our backyard, working on projects in the home we are living in, going on  drives and getting ideas for our future home, trying new recipes and grilling on our barbecue, driving Colb's truck up to the mountains to sit in the back and watch a movie and working out. Colby and I are always wanting to do something. We don't like to sit still for too long and are usually running around like crazy!

I added a few pictures below of my date night outfit from last week. Even when Colby and I go on simple dates I think it is fun to dress up :)

I found this fun nude top at Ann Taylor. I shop for a lot of my work clothes and blouses from Ann Taylor because I love the fit and tailoring. My jeans are from American Eagle. I have found that their jeans are a great fit for a basic pair of jeans. The tote is one of my absolute favorites for summer! My mom actually picked this one up from me in the Caribbean but I have found some really cute similar ones and have linked them here and here. Lastly, my lace up sandals are so much fun for summer! I love that they dress up any pair of jeans and that makes them perfect for date nights. I found these heels on Hautelook and have linked some similar here, here, and here

I hope you are all enjoying your summer nights and having fun on the dates you go on! I'm looking forward to a busy next couple of months.
